County Express

In partnership with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), Courtel electronically distributes all County Court District and Circuit Judges lists from the 7 regions of England and Wales.

The County Express pilot scheme has been successfully concluded and from mid-May 2010, Courtel and HMCS began extending the service to distribute lists that will, in time, include all 218 County Courts in England and Wales.

In the current environment of financial constraint, the MoJ seeks to reduce time demands on hard-pressed court staff without sacrificing real time list availability for court users.

Courtel’s highly resilient digital network and bespoke software applications have been specifically tailored to provide just such a reliable, partnered service.

We process and republish the lists described below, in a digital format that is easy-to-handle, cross-reference and store and deliver these to County Express Service subscribers. Lists are sent by email moments after they are published by each court or registry.

County Express Service

This consists of the County Court Circuit Judges and District Judges lists offering, but not exhaustively, bankruptcy and winding up, civil, family, costs, enforcement and insolvency, small claims, possession proceedings, fast track, family, ancillary relief and interim applications, all delivered by email, where participating county courts or district registries of the High Court in each of the 7 circuits issue them.

Price: £24 a year (plus VAT) (about 10 pence a day) per court.

Registered users of the Courtel website may also view current County Court lists on our website at no charge. There may be time delays in the online publication of these lists. Avoid such delays, the wasted time of constantly refreshing the publications page and the lack of any permanent list record for your fees clerks, by subscribing to the high-value County Express email service.
